BES KL 2007
BES KL 2007 was held at the prestigious KLCC convention centre in the heart of Kuala Lumpur near quality hotels and public transport.
The launch event, which took place over two days, had the successful combination of an exhibition and a plenary conference with the added benefit of in-depth workshops each day. Workshops included: Every Child Matters, Professional Development, Vocational Training and ICT. The event attracted regional visitors as well as specialists from the Ministry of Education in Malaysia.
Over the two networking days the BES KL 2007 event was visited by over 500 delegates. The delegates included people from the ministries (25%) including the Ministry of Higher Education, Human Resources, MARA and the Education Technology Division. Forty-five percent were from government and private schools and colleges, as well as visitors from Higher and Further Education. BES KL 2007 also attracted international visitors (20%) from the Philippines (Ministry of Education – Procurement Division), Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and many others. The remaining 10% were potential Malaysian partners for UK companies.
