BES Asia 2008
BES Asia 2008 was once again held at the prestigious Kula Lumpur Convention centre (KLCC) in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The KLCC is served by quality hotels and an effective transport system.
The event, which took place over two days, was a successful combination of an exhibition and conference, with the added benefit of in-depth workshops each day.
Over the two networking days, BES Asia 2008 was visited by over 500 delegates. The delegates included people from the Malaysian Education ministries (30%) including the Ministries of Higher Education, Human Resources, MARA and the Education Technology Division. 50% of delegates were from government, private schools and colleges, as well as visitors from Higher and Further Education. BES Asia 2008 also attracted international visitors (10%) from China, Egypt, India, Korea, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The remaining 10% were potential Malaysian partners for UK companies.

BES KL 2007
The inaugural BES KL 2007 was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
The workshops included: Every Child Matters, Professional Development, Vocational Training and ICT. The event attracted regional visitors as well as specialists from the Ministry of Education in Malaysia.
Over the two networking days BES KL 2007 event was visited by over 400 delegates. The delegates were from the Malaysian ministries (25%), private schools and colleges (40%), as well as visitors from Higher and Further Education. BES KL 2007 also attracted international visitors (20%) from the Philippines (Ministry of Education – Procurement Division), Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and many others.
